Hotel Construction Progress:
Most of the work on the outside of the building is complete. A few bands of decorative cornice are being installed currently and will be complete in early July. At the Southwest corner where the man lift was removed, the brick and all window glazing is complete. Precast elements at the building foundation are being worked on now and will be complete also by early July. At the main entry, work continues at the porte cochere canopy with metal panel install for the roof structure being the main focus. The Italian travertine columns which support the canopy will need to be installed prior to finishing the canopy at the end of the month.

Pavers and finish concrete walks at the waterfront promenade and at the main drop-off area are complete. Pedestal set pavers and all of the decorative planters have been installed at the outdoor terraces. The level 3 wood screen along the west side of the Hotel is currently being installed. This will provide a visual and noise buffer to the west. Planting for all exterior spaces including the roadway, promenade, and terraces will be complete by the end of June.

The interior podium levels continue to see significant progress this month. Wall finishes, flooring, casework, and digital equipment are the main focus at levels 1 through 3. The elevator cabs and elevator lobbies are complete except for the accent glass tile at the exterior walls.

At level 1, the back of house rooms are nearly complete with twenty percent of the spaces turned over to Hyatt for staff training and stocking of supplies. Work at the pool ceiling continues this month to install light fixtures and slatted ceiling. The pool ceiling is complete along with the fitness area, locker rooms, and spa. These areas will also be turned over by the end of the month to Hyatt for stocking to prepare for operations.

In the Grand Ballroom, wall paneling and cinema screens along the upper half of the perimeter walls will be installed by early July with carpet to follow. At level 2, the restaurant bar is the main focus of work. The rest of the restaurant casework along with the VIP lounge equipment and finishes are nearing completion. The lobby and marketplace are installing wall finishes, custom casework, and buffet equipment currently. Lastly, the furniture groupings will be brought in to complete these spaces.

At the meeting spaces on level 3 and Junior Ballroom; wall finishes are complete with carpet to be complete by the end of the month.

The guestroom floors continue interior finish construction going up the Tower with installation of furniture to follow as rooms are completed. Levels 4 through 10 currently have room casework and furniture now being installed in various stages of completion. Levels 11 and 12 will be complete with finish construction and ready for furniture by the end of the month. Hyatt employees are currently in the building on a daily basis training and reviewing operations to get ready for the Grand Opening in mid-July. Temporary Certificate of Occupancy (TCO) is scheduled for June 28.
Office Construction Progress:
The phase 1 parking garage is complete and temporary certificate of occupancy (TCO) was received from the City in mid-May. Cleaning and sealing of the exterior precast concrete is ongoing to be complete by the end of June. The final lift for the asphalt access road along the south side of the site was also completed in early June. At the north end of the garage, phase 2, levels P0 through P2 have been poured with interior lighting and striping ongoing. The double height space at the main Office lobby levels facing the Hotel are currently being poured. Level 2 will be poured and complete with level 3 formwork to follow by the end of the month.

The slab on grade pour for phase 3 at Tower 3 was also poured in mid-May. This will allow finishing of the shotcrete walls along the east side of the project to next be completed so the roadway can be backfilled at this location. Lastly, a temporary tunnel will be constructed from the Hotel at level 1 to the Office parking garage to facilitate valet parking/pedestrian access for the Hotel.

The Johns Creek Bridge install is substantially complete. Final punch list items are being addressed regarding the landscape, hardscape, lighting, and signalization.
